Topless Bea Arthur( 1991) painted by John Currin looks a Devil Woman
Devil Woman
My dear man, avoid a devil woman,
Gives you a nice face, then turns you down.
Don’t look back to a devil’s glance.
That special glance can end your dance!

She gives flowers with unusual smell.
She owns islands in space empty bare.
She dresses with jewels electrified with gold.
Her speeches conned of devil’s thought.

You can’t escape from a devil’s eyes;
Devil spirits will surround your paths.
Once you enter a devil’s ocean—
She may wash you from emotions!

Beware, and don’t touch near.
Once she catches your shirt,
Able to hang you, with it turns.
She has devil ways to keep you curled!

Divorce is not the answer, yet disaster!
You can’t escape from a starved romancer.
She tossed you, limping in a tavern.
Don’t think you can escape to safe heaven.

You are screaming asking . . . help-help,
Scalding in smoky fire alone, in gape.
Tell who is bravest to pull you out of flank,
None been saved from a devil’s known lark!
