Bari Ziperstein assembles all manner of figurines, furniture and various other found objects to create elegant yet convoluted documentations of time and place. Setting up antique store-like vignettes, her site specific installations of ceramic and mixed-media sculpture pieces seem at once all too common (owing to the banality of the original parts they are made up of) and wildly whimsical.
